Graphic Design Work

With a background in journalism, graphic design and user experience design, I've been able to curate a diverse variety of multimedia products – here are a few of my favorites.

Motion Graphics

In one of my most recent video projects, my sister asked for an animated video for her virtual wedding save-the-dates. In this project, I used a variety of tools to pull their story together – primarily Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects.

Merch Design

I love when I get to work on side projects for friends. The first two photos showcase a branding and logo design project for Llamabean Coffee Co. The next 6 photos showcase graphics created for local dog owners (can be used on a variety of products- from shower curtains, to mouse pads, to stickers, hats, t-shirts, and more.)

Magazine Design

Designing this magazine, I drew inspiration from a transitional period of my life–moving into my first apartment. This magazine targeted toward other early twenty-somethings looking to affordably decorate their first homes, with bright colors, current trends, and reasonably-priced interior design outlets. I loved the opportunity to blend aesthetic beauty with practical functionality, creating a publication that not only inspired but also informed and empowered readers to transform their living spaces.

BSU GIPHY Library

As a graphic designer on Ball State's Marketing and Communications team, delving into Adobe After Effects unlocked a world of exciting possibilities for me. Prior to working on this team, the university did not have any branded stickers or gifs for students to use on social media. I used spare time in between clients to learn After Effects and solve this problem.  I created a library of university-branded motion graphics, gifs, and stickers.

Newspaper Design

As a page designer for Lee Enterprises in Madison, Wisconsin, I was able to immerse myself in a world where creativity meets real-time storytelling. In a fast-paced environment, I spent an entire summer designing newspaper spreads for hundreds of newspapers across the U.S. Each day presented a new set of challenges– with different editors, different branding guidelines, and crucial deadlines racing pages to the printing press.
